Throughout the week my co-host Reaching for the Stars Student Ambassador Blake Henry and I teased a big announcement for February 4th’s live Twitter chat #CPChatNow. The anticipation peaked right away.
So I shared the exciting news.
Reaction proved positive!
Again you can ask Barton and Megan questions about their experiences as an inter-ability couple. Or you can seek advice. Know though what works for them, might not apply to everyone.
Regarding the open conversation about relationships and cerebral palsy, people did not want to wait until next week!
At this point I chimed in with a well timed train joke (or so I at least considered the joke well timed).
Back on a serious note however, the fast pace discussion on cerebral palsy and dating tested abilities to keep up on the conversation.
We eventually went beyond the dating topic and discussed other happenings. Blake shared some good news.
Better than a signing day, Blake has CPChatNow!
My response to Blake’s tweet sparked a whole new conversation.
Around a quarter til 10 the conversation started whimpering to an ambiguous close.
Now working on the recap I did notice within all the excitement one question did go unanswered. Feel free to take the time to answer in the comments section here, on our Facebook fan page, or on Twitter.
Thanks for reading the weekly recap! Subscribe to my blog to make sure you don’t miss any recaps. I look forward to next week when Barton and Megan Cutter help us put dating, cerebral palsy, and relationships back in the spotlight!
