February 11th marked a first for #CPChatNow as we invited a special guest to lead our discussion on a specific topic. With Valentine’s Day days away cerebral palsy and relationships proved the ideal topic. Inter-ability couple and authors Barton and Megan Cutter (Ink in the Wheels: Stories to Make Love Roll) generously  gave their time to answer our questions. Excitement brewed!

Barton gave incredible advice on what to do if your cerebral palsy freaks out your date.

Barton and Megan first met in-person thanks to similar interests but their relationship developed through online correspondence.

Other questions for Barton and Megan dealt with issues like communication and personal care.

Barton also discussed handling rejection.

While sharing great insights, Barton and Megan also acknowledged they don’t always possess the answers.

That offered a fitting moment to emphasize what works for one person or couple, may not work for everyone.

In fact Barton and Megan faced many questions from family which they could not answer. The couple knew though  they held the most important answer.

Around 9:00pm EST our Q & A with Barton and Megan Cutter transitioned to an open dialogue. Similar sentiments to what Barton said earlier surfaced again.

The discussion went deeper into dating and limiting the pool for potential dates.

There, that Beyoncé mention should prevent Kanye West from hijacking #CPChatNow and tweeting “#CPChatNow is great & all but Beyoncé did a duet w/ a blind fan.”
